I have an idea for a tattoo. Do you think it would work? Do you think it's masculine enough?

I wanted something to represent my kids, so my idea was that polynesian looking turtle that usually has a hawaiian type flower in it. I would have one turtle for each kid and instead of the flower, i put put something that represents my kids (butterfly, tiger etc.) I have 5 kids, one that past away so I would have the turtles following each other with one going off in it's own direction.

I have an idea for a tattoo. Do you think it would work? Do you think it's masculine enough?
my husband and i both agree that it sounds like a wonderful idea... it is so nice of a gesture... we have our own ideas for what we will be getting for our kids... dont have any yet... one on the way... we cant wait... hope we were able to help with you with your decision... we agree that it is masculine and would look good...

Reply:go for it. i think its a wonderful idea, and would respect any man for getting this type of tattoo..and even more so for thinking of it on his own. im sure it will turn out fine...just make sure you have a good artist do it.

Reply:I think that's a good idea. Certainly not feminine. It's kind of unisex. Besides, who needs ultimate masculinity when you're expressing your love for your kids? That's a universal idea, and I think this tattoo idea works well.

Reply:My opinion is unless you won't regret it later would be find. Sorry about the child that passes away. Since there's a meaning to what you want to get I think it would be a good idea.
Reply:I think that's a really cute idea. Maybe instead of putting something IN the flower, have each of the kids individualize their turtle. Like different colors, or different designs on it, you know? That way it's THEIRS.

Reply:Honestly....you have put a lot of thought into exactly what you want and how you want it to look.....that is the basic idea of tattoos.....I think it will be a wonderful representation....and masculine or not, it is what you want to do for the love of your kids and that is all that matters......I am very sorry for your loss, no parent should ever have to go through that......those are just my thoughts........ =)
Reply:If you have to ask complete strangers about whether or not your idea for a tattoo is "masculine" enough it appears that you're not mature enough to get a tattoo, much less be a good male role model for any kids.
