What side of the head is a single/attached girl supposed to wear the Hawaiian flower?

Think of it as a wedding ring that you wear on your left hand- that means you're attached. Same with the flower. Right is single, and left is taken.

i think it's the left.....i don't know! sorry!!
Reply:right side-single

left side-attatched

i din't know about the head/wrist/neck lei combo. i've only seen all three in hula or hawaiian choir (i lived there for a while)

You could always ask, or not wear any. They tend to fall out.
Reply:What are you attached to? Are we talking "ball and chain" attached or are we talking "dental floss" attached? If you're thinking of testing the ocean; wear it on your right. If you are seriously attached; wear it on your left. Sometimes it just doesn't matter; if you're attractive and pleasant - flower or no flower - guys (and some women) will try to hit on you regardless!

Aloha
Reply:Left.
Reply:People have already answered this and told you the right answers, but I thought I'd tell you why. Since you are not married, you would wear the flower on your right side. People who are married would wear the flower on the left side because your left side is closest to your heart. I learned that while I was staying in Maui for a while. I thought it was sweet and I guess that is why we wear wedding rings on our left hand too...
