Colors of my tat an other questions???
The first colors I think of with Hawaiian flowers are orange and yellow....maybe some pink or tourquoise as well.

try this site - they have tons of flower tat pics and you can print them out unlike most sites. that way you can take it with you when you get your tat to give them an idea of what colors you want.

I have a couple tats that honestly didn't hurt that badly....I have a few on my hips that didn't hurt and one on my side that hurt in certain areas. I tan with my tattoo and it hasn't messed it up...I have a SPF stick for covering tattoos. I bought mine at a tanning salon.
Reply:Take a picture of even a sketch to your tatoo artist and let them play with it, talk everything over before agreeing to be inked. Remember, no matter what keep ur tat out of the sun to keep the color vivid. Check out LA Ink
Reply:tattoofinder.com should help you
Reply:talk to the tattoo artist - they know what colors look right and what will look good on your skin tone ect - go to someone with experience - they see art in a way you never could...

as far as tanning - when you tan just put a little sunblock on your tattoo - tanning will eventually fade the colors but it takes awhile - you can either take care of it with sunblock or go have it re-color'd a few years later..

even using chapstick with SPF in it works good, as it is thicker and easier to put just on the tattoo itself - or at tanning salons they sell an spf "tattoo" stick -
Reply:Well if you a gurl you can try pink a light pink and yellow or aqua
Reply:what about pink, purple and blue? yes tanning will mess up your tattoo. it makes it fade and look old. for cleaning your tattoo use anti-bacterial soap everytime and make sure u apply a%26amp;d ointment only! everything else pulls ink out!! btw all tattoos hurt and everyones tolerance to pain is different. good luck
